    (IANS)

The United Arab Emirates has become the world's 4th best country in 2010 in terms of reliability of police services, an international report said.

According to the Global Enabling Trade Report 2010, released by the World Economic Forum, the UAE ranked 4th in the high levels of physical security. The report measures levels of violence in a country, including crime rates and threats to security.

The UAE also came among the top 20 countries in the Enabling Trade Index (ETI), leading the region at a very strong 16th position, ahead of Britain, Chile and the US.

Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan described the achievement as an 'outcome of the wise policy of the country's leadership and the strategies of the federal government.'

The ETI was developed within the context of the World Economic Forum's Industry Partnership Programme for the Logistics and Transport sector and was first published in The Global Enabling Trade Report 2008.
