Andre's chest infection delays album release

    (IANS)

Peter Andre's chest infection has caused worry for his management as the singer is unable to record for his new album which is scheduled to release in October.

Peter, 37, caught the flu after he came back from a three-week holiday in Australia, reports dailystar.co.uk.

But despite resting at home while ex-wife Kate Price took his children to Portugal, he has still not recovered. So this week's studio time was cancelled on doctors' orders.

'Peter really needs to get better,' said a source.

'Doctors told him he has a respiratory infection and therefore can't sing. But it's a bit worrying as he needs to get the album finished and ready for release at the end of October or beginning of November,' he added.

Peter is due to launch his arena tour Nov 11 and many of his new songs are on the set list.
